The master in Filmmaking (Screenwriting) (MFA) is a two-year comprehensive degree in the art and craft of filmmaking. Each year is balanced between courses and fiction projects (a documentary can be an option in the second year).
Students will have to specialize, either in directing, production, editing, cinematography, or screenwriting, and take part in a graduation project, in a position related to the specialization they have chosen.
Screenwriting: Students will write a pitch, treatment, and sample scenes for a feature-length script supervised by their screenwriting instructor. They also have priority access to all screenwriting workshops over 2nd year.
