Social Work

The mission of the program is to guide a diverse student body on a path of critical inquiry with the goal of building competent, compassionate and committed generalist practitioners. The program, grounded in the professions knowledge, skills, and values, teaches students to become civically engaged by developing a nurturing learning community, both in the classroom and in the field. The program challenges students to work toward a just, equitable, and caring society that is free from oppression and discrimination.
