Our degree in biomedical science explores human health and disease, focusing on the mechanisms of disease, diagnostic pathways and therapeutic intervention.
As well as developing your academic, professional and laboratory skills, you will improve your transferable skills such as communication and numeracy. Your studies will include practical-based modules, real-life clinical case studies and a research project. Some opportunities to undertake work experience can be provided dependent on the number of placements that can be secured in NHS hospitals.
