The Master in Social Work (MSW) at Rowan University prepares students for social work licensure and work in a variety of settings. The program provides specialized practice in mental health, equity and well-being.
This is a full time two-year, or three-year extended program requiring a minimum of 59 credits with a minimum of 900 hours of field work/clinical practicum experience. Additional Certificates of Graduate Study (C.O.G.S.) options further transdisciplinary learning and practice. Graduates from accredited Bachelor of Social Work (B.S.W.) programs can earn Advanced Standing waiving many of the first year generalist courses.
