The Master in Athletic Training (Fast track) program at Gannon University (Erie) prepares students to deliver patient-centered health care through classroom and clinical education experiences. Students will study essential topics including injury prevention, clinical examination and diagnosis, acute care of injuries and illnesses, and more. Students will also be well prepared to sit for the national certification examination through the Board of Certification Inc.
This five-year degree is designed for incoming freshmen (or transfers who meet degree matriculation requirements) who are interested in an accelerated path toward the Master in Athletic Training (Fast track).
In this option, students complete three years of undergraduate course work within the Applied Exercise Science foundational and core courses, as well as the Gannon University Liberal Studies Core. This is followed by two years of professional-level MAT core courses creating the 3+2 accelerated path.
