Educational Institution Information

Milan is the historic home of the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart, which has a campus in the city center. It is one of the most prestigious architectural complexes in the Lombard capital, located next to the Basilica of the Patron in the ancient Cistercian monastery of the abbey of Sant'Ambrogio. The two Bramante cloisters, along with the attached early twentieth-century facade designed by architect Giovanni Muzio, have become the University's symbol. La Cattolica supports cultural, social, sporting, and recreational initiatives proposed by its students and recognizes the value of student organizations by providing space and resources. The associations bring together groups of registered students who meet for the purpose of promoting a common interest.
