During the Bachelor in Environmental Engineering (BSc) program at Gannon University (Erie), students will learn fundamental science and engineering principles, to understand environmental systems and human impact. They will also apply scientific and engineering theories to real-world problems, such as water quality issues in the Great Lakes region, human health risks from airborne contaminants and more.
The course takes learning outside the classroom. With the university’s proximity to Lake Erie, students gain ample hands-on experience in the field, giving them the opportunity to pursue a practical and real-world education and become future environmental leaders with a career that gives back to the community and leaves the world a better place.
The Bachelor in Environmental Engineering (BSc) is the only ABET-accredited environmental engineering program in Northwestern Pennsylvania.
