Program Description

How is a crime defined and who are criminals? What causes crime and how should societies respond to it? You will analyze and debate questions like this on the bachelor in Criminology (BA), which is taught by criminologists who draw on their research experience at the cutting edge of the discipline.

In the bachelor in Criminology (BA), you will explore crime, victimization, and crime control, drawing on insights from social policy, sociology, law, psychology, politics, history, and the media. This will develop your critical thinking and research skills and will give you a broad understanding of theoretical perspectives on crime and justice.

The University of Nottingham offers a wide range of bursaries and international undergraduate scholarships.
