Students who major in law enforcement can work as police officers, sheriff's deputy, California Highway Patrol officers (CHP), Federal Bureau of Investigation Agent (FBI), Drug Enforcement Administration Agent (DEA), Secret Service Agents, U.S. Border Patrol Agent, Fish, and Game Warden, or customs agent. Correctional officer, parole officer, probation officer, youth counselor, prison warden, or criminologist are all other titles.
Your associate's degree will teach you how to demonstrate an understanding of the three parts of the criminal justice system and how they interact, how to demonstrate a working knowledge of criminal law theory and practice, and how to demonstrate an understanding of the legal procedures of the United States and California criminal justice systems.
