Our basic purpose of journalism department is, the training of academicians who can carry out academic work in the field and qualified journalists with the ability to use many communication tools at the same time offered by rapidly evolving communication technologies, depend on press professional principles and universal values, equipped with intellectual and practical knowledge, having a working discipline as well as productive, respecting self and community, the ability to think critically, the ability to act independent and impartial and the ability to carry out the work with a public sense of mission.
