Civil engineers work on a project from beginning to end. They are responsible for the planning, design, construction and operation of the physical environment that allows society to function. Our integrated master's course explores areas such as construction management and technology, engineering geology, hydraulics and soil mechanics. You can also study specialisms in water engineering, bridge design and the design of concrete structures.
This degree is attractive to employers. It meets the full academic requirements for registration as a Chartered Engineer and prepares you for engineering roles within construction, transportation, energy, water, and environmental and coastal defence.
