The Bachelor in Information Systems (BSc) major at Gannon University (Erie) is designed to prepare students for careers in the information processing and technology industries.
During the program, students will develop skills in computer-based information systems design, modeling, and development. These include two primary areas of study: computing and business. To support the development of computing skills, the students learn to utilize and critique technology associated with the systems and apply them to business.
100% program graduates have a 100% placement rate in, either related employment, or graduate studies.
In addition, during the Bachelor in Information Systems (BSc) program, students develop communication and interpersonal skills to interact positively with their organizations. They also incorporate facets of their professional education with their social awareness and make ethical decisions. Ultimately, students leave with the foundations to define a high quality of life by integrating their professions with lifestyle decisions.
