Bachelor in Data Science (BSc) - XU Exponential University

The Bachelor in Data Science (BSc) at XU Exponential University of Applied Sciences prepares students to become data engineers and create the infrastructure to manage data volumes in their company.

During the first few semesters of this program, students will gain a thorough understanding of data science project management: data collection, preparation and analysis. They will also learn how to professionally visualize and present results obtained from data information in practical projects. After the first few semesters, students will already have the central data science skills and be familiar with all key data science methods, apps, and tools.

Another focus of the first semester is communication and innovation management. Here, students will learn how to use modern communication and collaboration methods and techniques effectively and efficiently. They will deal with innovation methods and techniques, including design thinking and lean start-up methods, among others.

In the fourth semester of the Bachelor in Data Science (BSc), students can choose which of XU's partner universities they would like to spend a semester abroad at.

In the last two semesters, students can choose two of the following specializations: Programming and Optimization, Domain Specific Case Studies and Tools, Web Technologies, Security, and Computational Intelligence and Team Management.
