Program Description

Our brand new degree course has been designed with employers and industry in mind, ensuring you are learning the professional skills you will need once you graduate. You will be provided with the knowledge and skills to develop as a specialist in the areas of data analysis, machine learning, neural networks and artificial intelligence algorithm design. You'll also have access to Intel’s AI Academy, an online data processing resource.

You will learn the history of Artificial Intelligence, systems needed to underpin AI and the advanced algorithms it employs, using up-to-date technology including software packages and hardware infrastructure.

Note - Tuition fees:

For students who have citizens' rights after Brexit tuition fees are £9,250 per year.

Notes:

Foundation year entry requirements:

  • At least IELTS 5.5 overall including 5.5 in each band/component.

Other accepted qualifications:

  • International Advanced Levels (A Levels)
  • HNC qualifications
  • HND qualifications

Alternative English language requirements:

  • Our preferred tests are IELTS, TOEFL iBT (80 overall and a minimum of 17 in Writing and Listening, 18 in Reading and 20 in Speaking) and Pearson PTE ( 57 overall and a minimum of 51 in all components), so we recommend you take one of these if possible. We also recognise the following qualifications/tests:
  1. Trinity College: Integrated Skills in English (ISE)
  2. LanguageCert International ESOL SELT tests
  3. International English Language Competency Assessment (IELCA)

Important Information:

  • If you don't meet our English language requirements, we offer a range of courses which could help you achieve the level required for entry. We also provide our own English Language Proficiency Test (ELPT) in the UK and overseas.
