The Bachelor in Supply Chain Management (BSc) program at Gannon University (Erie) will prepare students to understand the flow of raw material from supplier to end-user so they can effectively manage these supply chains and secure their career success in this ever-growing field.
Supply chain is defined as the entire system of organizations, people, activities, information, and resources involved in moving a raw material, input, or service from supplier to end user. Managing a firm's supply chain is a complex task and requires the firm to plan its own operations in concert with its suppliers' and customers' operations. The introduction of just-in-time and continuous flow operations in production facilities has created the need for such intensive planning and control.
The program focuses on inventory management, transportation management, enterprise resource planning, sourcing, logistics, and decision modeling.
The Bachelor in Supply Chain Management (BSc) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs.
