Program Description
The Foundation in Art and Design program at Birmingham City University International College prepares students in industry-standard facilities at the historic School of Art include print, wood, metal, ceramics and glass workshops, a specialist arts library and public exhibition space.
During this program, students will benefit from industry links with a range of prestigious institutions including Tate Liverpool, Ikon Gallery, and Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery.
Birmingham has one of the UK's biggest media and creative arts communities outside of London, with many based in the same district as the campus, so students of the Foundation in Art and Design program will have access to a network of local creative agencies and studios.
