Program Description
The Bachelor in Aesthetics (BA) at Cyprus College addresses the rapid development of technology in cosmetology and the increasing demand for people specialising in advanced methods in skin health protocols.
Aesthetics as a developing science has been recognized as a paramedical profession, with demand in the market for practitioners with specialized training in the most up-to-date aesthetics technology and products.
Students receive specialised training in the areas of anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology, dermatology, physics, plastic surgery and aesthetics, electrotechnology and chemistry. Students will also gain knowledge in other thematic topics related to aesthetics, such as Aesthetic exercises, diet and first aid.
In addition to the theoretical part, students of the Bachelor in Aesthetics (BA) receive practical training in using new technology – Radiofrequency, Ultrasound, Mesotherapy, Exfoliating Machinery, Color Therapy, Hot Stone for Wellness and Relaxation, etc. Emphasis is also placed on the use of aesthetics applications IPL (Intense Pulse Light) and Laser.
