During the Bachelor in Media and Culture (BA) program at Utrecht University, students study media in a broader context and in relation to each other. They will learn about history, theory and larger social and technological contexts in which media function and interact. They will also develop academic skills, such as doing research.
With this program, students not only study the history, theory and social context of media and performance. They also learn how to analyse the form and content of a film, television, game or performance.
The Bachelor in Media and Culture (BA) program is unique in that students also study dance. At the start of the course, they will follow introductory subjects in the fields of film, television, new media, theatre, dance and culture and society.
