Περιγραφή Προγράμματος
Interior architecture is distinct from the better known field of interior design, though the two are linked. Interior architecture degrees typically focus on the adaptation and remodelling of existing buildings, bringing together the practices of interior design and architecture in one. This course incorporates a diverse range of buildings across the public, private, and commercial spheres.
We’ll encourage you to develop an individual style, independent thinking, and innovative ideas. We give all our students the skills needed to address real-world situations in an imaginative and dynamic way, preparing you for the world of work.
Our course can also be taken over four years instead of three, to include a one-year professional placement within the design industry, to be taken after your second year. You'll gain substantial professional practice and you’ll receive an Advanced Diploma Professional Practice: Interior Architecture & Design at graduation.

More information:
- Applications from mature candidates without formal qualifications are welcomed, provided they can demonstrate appropriate levels of relevant ability and experience.
- If you have achieved a qualification such as a foundation degree or HND, or have gained credit at another university, you may be able to enter a Middlesex University course in year two or three.
- If you have relevant qualifications or work experience, academic credit may be awarded towards your Middlesex University programme of study.
Interview information:
- You have the option of attending an online Zoom interview but it is not mandatory.
- The interview itself will last around 15 minutes but you should allow for the whole interview process to take a working day as we will spend some time at the beginning explaining our course ethos and philosophy to you in a group, with the opportunity for you to ask us questions about the course and life as a Middlesex student.
- You will also be offered the opportunity to view the facilities and meet appropriate staff and students. We use the interview to find out more about you, to better understand your aspirations and interests, and to explore why you want to study with us.
