The Foundation in Architecture course at Newcastle University introduces students to an explorative and creative route into architecture. Students will explore key aspects of architecture such as space, materiality and aesthetic qualities.

This course is suitable for students who need to improve their English language study skills within the context of architecture, or want to increase their subject knowledge of architecture. They can expand their skills and knowledge on various projects and tasks including: from two to three dimensions, sketching and drawing, constructing physical models.
During the Foundation in Architecture program, students will also learn how to research, analyze and present their work effectively, thanks to their improved language and communication skills.
