Civil Engineering

Civil Engineering Department has been established with a mission to provide the students with a high-quality programme to follow and learn cutting edge technologies and at the same time to participate actively in applied and theoretical research.

The undergraduate programme is designed in accordance with a cooperative education strategy and an understanding of hands-on experience so that the new trends in technology can be adapted easily. The programme constitutes the foreground in the fields of Structure, Mechanic, Transportation, Hydraulic and Geotechnics. Thus, it is aimed to provide the students with the skills to apply the knowledge of mathematics, fundamental sciences and engineering to Civil Engineering problems, to specialize at least in one of them and to participate in creative and integrative design activities as well.
