The Master in Education (Teaching and Learning) (Part time) (MA) (Μεταπτυχιακό σε Education (Teaching and Learning) (Part time)) investigates the structure of learning within our education systems and challenges thinking about how learning takes place in schools and colleges.
The program is designed for those who are interested in exploring ways of developing high quality teaching and learning where students are empowered to take responsibility for their learning. Pedagogical issues will be examined and critically assessed from a theoretical and practical perspective. Students will carry out a research project on one area of educational practice, the outcomes of which will be disseminated and have an impact on evidence-based approaches to learning.
Upon successful completion of the Master in Education (Teaching and Learning) (Part time) (MA) (Μεταπτυχιακό σε Education (Teaching and Learning) (Part time)) program, students will be able to critically examine selected theory and practice of aspects of teaching and learning which meet personal and professional needs. Students will also select aspects of own teaching and learning practice by negotiating, planning and undertaking an action research project focused upon an evidence-based pedagogical approach.
