The Master in Applied Linguistics and TESOL (MA) at Anglia Ruskin University (ARU) will help students improve their theoretical understanding of language learning and help them develop their teaching skills.
Students will explore the latest theories in topics such as second language acquisition and social discourse. Students will learn different methods of analysis with which to assess their own language teaching. They will also learn to conduct their own research, compiling and analysing qualitative and quantitative data and developing their critical-evaluative skills. These skills will be put to use on their own research project at the end of the Master in Applied Linguistics and TESOL (MA) program, as well as in their future career.
