The program aims to introduce students to the in-depth study of modern methods in biophysics, including cryo-electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction on protein crystals, bioinformatics, and computer modeling which are aiming to focus on the problems of aging, age-related diseases and living matter.
Leading Russian and foreign scientists are giving lectures and seminars in biophysics, aging, and age-related diseases, methods of modern biophysics and their applications, physiology and neurobiology, bioinformatics and theoretical biophysics, and genomics. A part of the classes is held online. In addition to workshops, students are involved in current scientific activities of the MIPT laboratories with the possibility of internships, as well as other joint educational and research programs, including double degree programs with leading foreign Research Centers.
