The master in Product Development - Assistive Technology Engineers (MASTech) focuses on innovative product development of assistive devices for individuals with disabilities. It requires a combination of medical and engineering knowledge. As such, the program is open to students with backgrounds in prosthetics and orthotics or mechanical engineering (Prosthetist/Orthotists).
Students in the master in Product Development - Assistive Technology Engineers (MASTech) will link theory to industrial practice by completing several projects addressing problems identified by industry partners, and by doing an industrial placement. They also will have a close collaboration with users of assistive technologies as well as companies involved in the manufacture and supply of assistive devices.
