Program Description

The “MSc in Curriculum Development and Instruction” aims at effectively preparing teachers and researchers thus making them able to respond to the increasing complexity of the educational and social environment and be able to provide effective teaching and quality learning experiences and opportunities to all students. Great emphasis is given on the students’ cognitive development and the use of different teaching methods, procedures and tools, appropriate for the different thinking, cognitive and learning styles.

The program will help students acquire the necessary theoretical and scientific background of effective teaching methodology and organization of powerful learning environments (conducive to interdisciplinarity) in order to function as productive members in the educational system and fully meet the increasing demands of today’s and tomorrow's society.

Finally, the program aims at equiping its students with advanced research skills and promotes research in the field of education especially in teaching methodology, interdisciplinarity and the social and pedagogical dimensions of education.
