Program Description

The MSc Electronic and Electrical Engineering course enables you to refine specialist skills alongside pioneering research interests at the College of Engineering. Your learning will reflect the modern demands of the electronics industry. Accredited by the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), the course gives you the ability to effectively plan and execute an intricate programme of work, and apply specialist knowledge in the industry.

Over the course you will develop skills with industry-standard equipment, such as a scanning tunnelling microscope for atomic scale probing, and the hp4124 parameter analyser for power devices. You will have the chance to build an understanding of prototyping and production methods and components, while learning how to construct and evaluate advanced models of manufacturing techniques.

Note:
Tuition fees for years of study after your first year are subject to an increase of 3%.
