One of the most important forms of organization of the educational process is the practice-oriented nature of student training, as the activity of our department is designed to build up a new cadre of scholars, officials, internationally-oriented professionals for excellence, achievement, and leadership, capable of taking on leadership roles in international relations.

Practice is held in governmental structures, Rossotrudnichestvo, Rosmolodezh, Roscosmos, Rosatom, the Chamber of Commerce, the UN Information Centre, Russian President's representative offices, embassies and the embassies of the CIS countries, and representative offices of foreign countries in the Russian Federation, etc.
