If you don’t attain the necessary grades to enrol on to the BSc Business Management (Business Analytics) course, the BSc Business Management (Business Analytics) with a Foundation Year degree is for you.

The Foundation Year is an excellent pathway to gaining the required knowledge and skills in business management and analytics, before joining Year 1 students of the BSc Business Management (Business Analytics) degree within the School of Management.

During your degree, you will develop the skills required to excel in the era of ‘big data and business analysis. You will also study core business modules including marketing, accounting, finance, strategy and human resource management. The course modules are designed to ensure you have a well-rounded understanding of how a business functions ahead of joining the world of work.

Curriculum

Foundation Year

The Foundation Year (Year 0) gives you the opportunity to build your knowledge in business and offers a high level of support through small lecture and seminar classes.

Year 1

Year 1 will include compulsory modules which will give you a grounding in core business principles including: marketing, accounting, operations and finance. In addition, we provide a range of modules that cover the basics for all areas of business, including maths and statistics as well as professional skills.

Years 2 & 3

Years 2 and 3 will include a combination of advanced compulsory content, optional module choices and the Final Year Project.
